Immediately, Norton quickly responded. When she arrived, she discovered a frail, skinny puppy abandoned with old furniture and garbage. It was hard to tell where the pup came from. When he was found, it was estimated that the puppy had been there for a week. Also, it appeared that he hadn’t eaten since he was abandoned.

Sadly, the puppy wouldn’t move from his spot, thinking his owners were coming back. Norton gave him treats to reassure him. Finally, the puppy felt comfortable around her.

She also posted a photo of the pup, in the hopes of reaching his previous owners. However, Norton thinks nothing will come out of looking for them because the previous owners would be fined for neglect.

Now, Lazy-Boy Gatson has become quite a popular dog. Many people were heartbroken to hear his story, but he is now healthy and happy. According to the shelter’s updates, he is a friendly puppy who likes playing in the water. Also, he loves napping all day long, hence the name. Further, Lazy-Boy Gatson gets along well with the others and is very sweet. Now, he is in foster care, waiting to be adopted. Check out some photos of him lazing around and playing.
