A Turkish road worker turned to be a hero after saved the life of a drowning kitten by giving CPR and then adopted it.
Together with other road workers, Metin Keskin was cleaning the blocked drains on the streets in Istanbul, when spotted the drowning kitten. He helped her in the struggle for breathing and after the animal survived took the cat into his home.
The recent flooding caused many issues across Turkey. Almost all road workers were engaged to repair the damage. They also cleaned the blocked drains, when one of the workers in Istanbul named Metin Keskin saw a drowning kitten, on Wednesday. He decided to help her to survive, by giving CPR.
His colleagues created a video in which can be seen as Metin is blowing air into the cat's mouth before gently massaging its chest to bring her back to life.After the cat started breathing normally, he took the animal to hospital and when she was well enough and ready to be released, Metin and his family decided to take her into their home.
"It's very healthy now. I'm so happy, too. It's become our kitten now," Keskin told reporters on Thursday at an animal care center in the neighborhood of Tepeoren.Watch the full story in the video below.
