Going to the zoo is a fun experience for most people. Walking around, looking at different animals, watching their silly behavior, and learning about the different breeds is entertaining. I don’t know one child that doesn’t love the experience of a day at the zoo. In China, they decided to take the normal zoo experience and turn it into something not so normal.
They reversed the roles and put visitors in cages, allowing the animals to run free. The idea is absurd, but the visitors are absolutely loving the reverse roll zoo. Lehe Ledu Wildlife Zoo in Chongqing, China states, “We wanted to give our visitors the thrill of being stalked and attacked by the big cats but with, of course, none of the risks. The guests are warned to keep their fingers and hands inside the cage at all times because a hungry tiger wouldn’t know the difference between them and breakfast.”
To make the experience even more entertaining, the cages have meat attached to the outside of them.
This new zoo experience comes just a few months after a 8-year-old girl was killed by a circus tiger at the very same park.
But that doesn’t stop tourists. The tour is already booked out for 3 solid months.
It appears the large cats love the idea too.
The hair-raising experience is different and thrilling for visitors
One visitor stated, “It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced before in a zoo, we’re not looking at them, they’re looking at us — and we’re lunch
Would you be brave enough to reverse roles like this
I honestly don’t think I could, that’s for sure.
