Simon the baby cow was rescued by the Wildlife Friends Foundation based in Thailand, after he was caught in the vines while being with his mom. Sadly, the baby cow lost its leg but the good people at the foundation got him a prosthetic one so he could learn to walk again. “We decided to house him temporarily in a large open field enclosure within the WFFT Rescue Center where he could recover from his ordeal,” the center shared.
The original plan was to move Simon to a place with two other cows so he could walk freely but then along came Leonardo, the African spurred turtle. After these two met, it was impossible to separate them because they simply became the best friends ever. They follow each other around and do everything together. It's safe to say that not only did Simon find luck with the rescue center, he also gained a best friend for life.
