Sani Smith clearly has some serious skill when it comes to photography, and she's putting it to amazingly good use in this photo series. Some of her pictures capture the hunter nature of owls, like this one, a stunning shot of an owl on a post, its wings spread out behind it and a mouse dangling from its mouth.

In this photos Sasi Smith really manages to humanize these creatures, who have always seemed kind of mystical and beyond understanding (so much so that they even got to become part of the magical world in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series).
