Rescue Puppy Can’t Hide Happiness As She Finally Leaves The Shelter
Matilda doesn’t let anything bring her down.
The sweet puppy is one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever lay your eyes on, despite her rough start in life.
The pit bull pup was picked up as a stray by the Douglas County Animal Shelter in Georgia when she was only two months old.
She was infested with worms and suffered from skin issues but despite her ailments, she was acting like a little ray of sunshine from day one of her rescue.

She put smiles on everyone’s faces at the shelter and showered them in kisses

Then, when it was time for her to go to a foster home, her joy went into overdrive. Her little tail wagged so fast it’s a wonder it didn’t fly off.

Matilda wagged her tail the whole ride home to her new foster mom, Kerrie Rich. The ride was well over an hour long, but Matilda was just too excited to stop. Matilda seemingly doesn’t dwell on the past and she can’t help but express her joy for life. The adorable pup focuses on the good in life and happily shares her joy with everyone around her.

Now, Matilda has settled in with Rich and she’s still overjoyed, continuously wagging her tail.

Matilda loves playing with her new foster siblings and is spreading joy to the whole household. She’s extremely affectionate and can’t help but cheer everyone up.

Once her skin clears up completely, she’ll be ready for the next step on her journey: finding a forever home. We’re totally jealous of whoever gets lucky enough to bring this beautiful girl home for life!
