This photo saved the lives of two dogs
Dogs are regarded as angels by dog lovers. But sometimes their life also becomes very complicated and hard. It is hard to digest this thing that so many of these four-legged friends end up in shelters.
While some are able to find forever homes for themselves and start a new life. Many of them are not lucky as they are not adopted and the only option left for them is to put them down.
It is really heartbreaking to find a dog in such a situation and our heart goes out to that dog. But at times we are also helpless.

This story is of two dogs- Kala and Keira and they live at Atlanta-based Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. These dogs were very unfortunate and their fate seemed to be sealed as they were about to be euthanized. There was no one who was ready to adopt them. It was not like the dog was having any problem. They were well-trained and loving puppies. As they were not left with much time, the staff decided to give one last chance to the dogs to help them find a new home. The staff shared a photo of the pair hugging on Facebook with an appeal.

It read –“ I am Kala. this is Keira. We are so scared in here. The people working in the shelters see how scared we are but just told each other that today is our deadline. If no one saves us, someone will take her away from me. I will see her as she goes down the hallway. She won’t come back and I’ll cry. They’ll come for me next and I won’t be as brave.”

The caption with the powerful image went viral in minutes and in less than two hours, the dogs were saved by their saviors. According to shelter staff, there are no words to tell how happy they were as those two best friends were safe and together. Really happy that the two girls got the forever home and are living happily.
