Laura the piglet and Marina the kitten first met at the Santuario Igualdad Interespecie, an interspecies equality sanctuary for farm animals in Santiago, Chile.
Marina was abandoned by her mother because she was sick, weak, and had pus-filled eyes. If no one helped her, Marina would have likely died. Fortunately, a kind-hearted individual brought her to the Chilean sanctuary, saving her life.
