Pony, who was forced to be with customers who came to the brothel, was rescued in 2003 in a joint operation by the police and officials of the Borneo Orangutan Sustenance Foundation. Lone Droscher-Nielsen, who is part of the team that saved the pony, told The Sun, "When I found the pony, I was horrified to see that it was forced prostitution, not just to be sold as a pet."
