Meet Bogart, a nosy 4-year-old English Bulldog who spends most of his day poking his head through the garden fence. You can watch hilarious video of Bogart at the end of the this article.
While many of us are still stuck inside due to lockdown restrictions, our pets have become a valuable source of entertainment. But for those of us without our own fluffy friends for company, we have the Internet to thank for the endless supply of cute photos and videos. One particular video surfaced recently that took social media by storm. Meet Denmark-based Bogart, the 4-year-old English Bulldog who spends much of his day poking his head through his family's garden fence.
Bogart's fence is no ordinary enclosure though his owner, Ranveig Bjørklid Levinsen, has painted hilarious designs on the outside, so passers-by can enjoy the comical moment. Similar to a photo stand-in you'd find at a carnival where you stick your head through a hole, Levinsen decided to paint a jester hat on one hole and a kingly getup on another. The viral video shows Bogart peaking outside, none the wiser to how funny he appears. But Bogart isn't the only one to enjoy the attention from his neighbors—his mother (also a bulldog) uses the holes too.
Now with over 60,000 shares, Levinsen was surprised to find that the video of her dog became so popular online. She writes on Facebook, "Bogart has gone viral in Denmark. He has also got on one of Denmark's biggest influencers' Instagram profile, and now I can see that he's on a Norwegian dog group too."
This cute pup seems to enjoy the attention, too. "Bogart is a sweet, very loving and happy little English bulldog," Levinsen told My Modern Met. "He loves to play, and he loves it when we are having people over the more attention, the better, and he can be very insisting. He is the most stubborn dog I've ever had if there is something he doesn't want to do, he will not do it."
Well, that just proves how much he must love playing neighborhood lookout. Scroll down to watch the funny video.
