Rosie was merely two weeks old when she was found wandering alone on the streets of San Jose in California. She was so tiny and looked so frail. She most likely hadn’t had anything to eat for a while and would have perished if she wasn’t found. Her rescue led her to the house of Thoa Bui, a woman who had fostered many stray animals before.
Lilo is one of the huskies that Thoa had under her care. And this time, she is helping out by giving care of her own. The loving dog just went to the sad kitten and laid down beside her. She even placed one of her paws over the young cat to nuzzle her. A couple of hours after, Rosie started eating. After their initial meeting, the two became inseparable. They are always beside each other, and when they go to sleep at night, the two have to be touching each other.
According to Thoa, the two are together all the time that Rosie has started to imitate what her surrogate mother is doing. It’s like she is having an identity crisis. Rosie would go out to pee just like Lilo and even demanded to have her own leash when they take a walk. Aside from Lilo, the cat has also bonded with the other dogs and cats living in their home. But at the end of the day, her favorite is her husky mom. For more than a year now, they have gone on several adventures and their bond just keeps growing stronger. Rosie has truly found her family.
