1. This loving labrador, who previously adopted nine ducklings, is now mothering six little ducklings. Fred is an 11-year-old labrador and he's actually a gentleman! All of the puppies he had looked after are already grown, but he has already found new ones.

2. Fred is actually a dog living in Mountfitchet Castle, and the staff there enjoyed watching the little Fred babysit the ducks.
