Karissa Lerchfrom Durham, North Carolina always wanted a dog. But she also knew sharing her home with a furry friend is a great responsibility. Beside that, during her college time she couldn’t afford to raise a pup, neither. So she decided to buy a toy wolf from Toys-R-Us instead.
After a few years, her dream finally came true as she adopted an Alaskan Malamute puppy. And the woman thought it would be nice to offer her old plush companion to Luca – as she named her furry ball friend.
However, what Karissa never known was the pup found the best friend in that toy.
"I passed the stuffed animal down to her and she has kept it by her side at all times ever since," the woman wrote on Reddit. "It's her baby. She carries it around everywhere and always has it with her when she goes to bed. [Luca] is super gentle with it." The toy, once also named Luca was renamed Mr. Wolf as with two Luca, the family would have been a little bit confusing.
However, this special relationship between the adorable pup and her best friend is pretty strange for the family, considering Luca destroyed all her stuffed animal. Needless to mention that Mr. Wolf is not even "dog durable," according to Karissa. Most likely Luca thinks the toy is actually one of her own kind since it looks just like her. Anyway, images of Luca cuddling with the plush toy won heart all over!
