You should sleep … Safe now, on a full stomach. ” Even if the puppies are temporarily safe, they still need a lot of attention and care. Even so, her chances of survival remain very slim, as life without a mother at this young age seems downright impossible. Still, the devoted people at this Dallas rescue did everything they could to keep everyone alive. “It takes a very special person to take care of bottle babies,” explained the rescue group. “It’s not just about feeding them every 2 hours and keeping them clean. You have to do almost everything. We try to get as close as possible to caring for a mother. Never a replacement, but as close as possible. Hot baths help! ” In the short video below, one of the puppies can be seen lying on his back in the hands of a caretaker and enjoying a very comfortable bath. While it’s always comforting to see the cute scene, you wonder how some people can be so heartless when you think about how those innocent souls got there in the first place.
