This is the incredible moment hundreds of k!ller whales gather off the coast of Norway. A large group of at least 300 individuals were accidentally discovered by an expedition ship and the footage left everyone in awe.
Naturally, such a large number of k!ller whales raises some questions that these large predators are often found in small groups. The giant pod was first discovered by a wildlife guide. At first glance, everyone thought that maybe they were from the same family, but when they noticed their number was increasing day by day, they gave up this idea.
When the mating season begins, there are also large numbers of k!ller whales. However, these nimble sea creatures are very secretive about their reproductive habits and have never seen such a large flock before.
Numerous seabirds, who eventually escaped, uncovered the unusual behavior of k!ller whales. Also, it soon became clear that there were fishing boats nearby. So this hungry k!ller whale has to swim like this to feed. The sea is very rich in herring, k!ller whales’ favorite food. Therefore, when the fishing season begins, large shoals of k!ller whales congregate here. But this was the first time such a huge pod was captured on camera!
