A video of a street dog walking up to a pharmacist in Istanbul so as to ask for help for its injured paw has gone viral on social media.
Dogs are a lot more expressive than humans are, is the common consensus that the internet has arrived at after a video of a dog seeking help from a pharmacist went viral. In the short clip, a street dog in Istanbul stood at the door of a pharmacy, and with a feeble expression, looked at the pharmacist.
Banu Cengiz, thereafter, rushed to the dog and noticed that its paw was bleeding. So as to ask for help, the dog put its paw on Banu's hand. She cleaned the wound and applied medicine on it apart from providing the dog with food and water."When I was done, she laid down as if to thank me. She was saying, 'I trust you'," Banu Cengiz told The Dodo, an American online publisher
The internet found the video quite adorable and described it with words such as "cute" and "adorable". Another tweet read:
"Dogs are the best" while another user said: "I love dogs and sometimes humans." This particular user also had a suggestion: "Someone adopt him."
Banu Cengiz also maintains a small area outside her pharmacy for stray dogs she is unable to adopt, The Dodo reports.
"I do it because they feel. We need to help those who need it. People should teach their children to love and respect animals and nature.
Then we can all live together in a beautiful world," she added.
