In early October, I decided to get involved in the joint knitting of the new Starflake scarf by designer Stephen West. This is his first scarf I've knitted. The finished scarf on his shoulders was beautiful and inspiring. I bought some of Daria's yarn and started knitting. It took me 6 months to finish it, but I think it was worth it. And it's nice to have a big scarf to wrap up when it snows in April
To be honest, I had a bit of a problem with the description of the model. First I tried to do it with brioche 3 times. I didn't succeed, obviously I can't count the brioche stitches correctly when they are around 300
It was not very clear when to knit straight and when to knit. In the end I decided to do it so that the front was a smooth knit. After all, this i-cord has nothing to do with the middle of the star model and the semicircles. Apart from not understanding this moment of the model, I am very happy with the scarf and I want to try to do it again, this time with a brioche.
I used a hoop of needles 3.75 mm 300 grams of Daria's yarn - 1.5 balls of white and 1.5 balls of orange, 400 g / 100 m.
asked my husband to take a quick picture of me outside. I usually take pictures of my cousin, but now due to social distancing we can't see each other for photos.
So I had to be a model with my beautiful Starflake scarf. In fact, it was fun to model and I can try again
