Fresno Bully Rescue learned about the dog and decided to save her. At the time, she wasn’t in good health and her mange was so bad she smelled like rotting flesh. Yet, despite her suffering, she still found the courage to wag her tail. Fresno Bully Rescue put her up for adoption and that’s when Amy Matsushima first saw a video of her at her first vet appointment. She fell in love with her sweet face and knew she had to meet her, she said: “When I came across her photo on the rescue’s web, I couldn’t believe it. She seemed unhappy, but she was wagging her tail and flashing her little smile, and it struck me square in the heart. I have to meet this puppy.”
