Photographer Timothy Joseph Elzinga was recently woken up by his 2-year-old man Gibson at 1:30 a.m. when their child spotted beautiful shade lights moving into the sky. Timothy quickly obtained their camera and shot some amazing pictures of just what he later on recognized is a phenomenon, called "light pillars."

"I thought it absolutely was The north Lights because we inhabit Canada," Elzinga stated. "it had been a super clear evening, you might see everything. These lights had been [shooting] into the sky, blasting a huge selection of foot in the air, and were shimmering and going."
