Freyja, this Siberian Husky, is one such dog, only she was lucky enough to be found by a kind hearted man who only wanted the best for her. He thought she was just a dog who had gotten lost and couldn't find her owners. Her collar and tags were still on her when she was found, and the call was immediately made to the owners.

However, when they finally picked up the phone, they responded that they weren't looking for her. Abandoned without a home, the man decided to take her in himself. When taken to the vet, it was reported that she was twenty pounds underweight and was the result of heartworm.

It's likely that that's the reason she was abandoned, as they couldn't afford the treatment she needed. Her new dog dad, however, believe she was worth the price and had her condition taken care of.

Now she has a loving home, a warm bed, and plenty of food to eat to make up for her lack of weight. She'll never have to scrounge off the streets ever again. Share this post with your friends too! And those who abandoned her, shame on you.
