It was definitely a sight to behold for the talented wildlife photographer Kelvin Hudson, when he came upon a swarm of blue butterflies. The magical creatures were all clustered on an ancient tree, just like out of a fairytale.
Hudson was walking through the forest when witnessed the incredible moment. Even it may seem like a common sight, to see bunches of butterflies gathered on trees, it happens extremely rare for this particular sub-species to behave like that.The blue morpho butterflies usually stay hide on ground or in trees. Therefore, spotting a swarm of it showing off their vibrant color wings it's for sure a once-in-a-lifetime shot.
The lucky photographer was in the right place at the right time to capture on camera these blue morpho butterflies in all their beauty. They were all quietly enjoying the sunshine! A group of blue morpho butterflies was resting on a tree trunk, their iridescent wings providing an incredible view to the spectator. Luckily, Hudson had his trusty camera with him to take the rare and awe-inspiring picture.
