When Ember lost her kittens to illness, her little heart broke into a million pieces.
The grieving rescue cat thought she’d never be happy again, and that the sharp pain in her chest would never ease.
But when she met a tiny orphan in desperate need of a mother, Ember new she had to help him.

Meanwhile, Ember was suffering from a terrible depression. All light had left her life after the death of her kittens, and it seemed like nothing could pull her out of the darkness.

But then, the Atlanta Humane Society were struck with a great idea. They decided to bring Ember and Flame together, and see if the two desolate cats could help each other find their happiness again.
