A 5-week-old litter of puppies was abandoned and brought to a public shelter. And when Jen Deane, president of Pit Sisters Dog Rescue, heard about them, she didn’t hesitate to rescue the pups.
Recently an organization called Pit Sisters found out about ten abandoned puppies. The cute puppies desperately needed to be taken care of, since all of them were dirty and infected with worms.
Laurie Locashio McGovern She picked them up and took them to the vet to be treated for worms, but they were healthy otherwise. The tan puppies all looked alike, but one pup stood out from the rest with "cinnamon roll" ears! Jen had never seen anything like it and named her Cinnamon, of course!
For unknown reasons, Cinnamon has adorably shaped ears that remind people of cinnamon rolls. After the shelter shared her photos online, it quickly started receiving a lot of attention. "We did not expect Cinnamon to get so much attention but we sure are glad that she did."
At only 5 weeks old, Cinnamon, as well as her brothers and sisters, needed immediate health care.Luckily, Cinnamon has been adopted by a loving and caring family that already has three adorable puppies.
Now she is 8 weeks old, has a loving family, and her sad experience with neglectful owners is in the past.It is clear that many people quickly fell in love with Cinnamon and her adorable ears.
Cinnamon's picture went viral on social media and people from all over fell in love with her unique ears. She was quickly adopted and renamed Kira, and as expected, her ears have uncurled and grew out. But she's just as adorable as ever in our eyes!
