Julia, the girl in the video below, was born with a hearing loss. This problem often felt like she wasn’t with other children who hadn’t experienced the same thing. She often felt out of place and couldn’t make friends who could fully engage in her struggle. Until Walter came.
Walter has the same problems as her. But his hearing loss did not prevent him from making the most of his life and living with joy every day. Perhaps now is the best time to mention that Walter is actually an adorable puppy.

“They are the same,” Julia’s mother, Clichy, explained in a video posted on the Pasadena Human Society and SPCA’s Facebook page. “She learned a very different kind of love.” Julia’s parents found him in California thanks to the Pasadena Human Society and SPCCA. And when they learned more about Walter’s story, they realized that he and Julia created to be together.

Julia’s attitude improved as soon as the girl met her new boyfriend and realized that he was experiencing some of the same things as her. She became more confident and more sociable with her other children. Most importantly, she no longer feels lonely and no one understands what she is experiencing.
