This baby flamingo just became an Internet star. There’s an adorable baby flamingo at the Pittsburgh’s National Aviary that is quickly taking the internet over by storm for being too relatable and cute!
The four day old flamingo, which has yet to have its colorful fur, had caught the attention of the internet as well as the eyes of those close enough to the area to see the little bird, because of its incredibly fluffy nature and its already long legs. But the eyes stuck when they saw the young bird try to be an adult already.
We vote for the little flamingo to stay young for a little bit longer- trust us, growing up too soon is no fun either. Robin Weber, a staff member at the National Aviary, later told Bored Panda that birds, like so many other species (including humans!) "go through a bit of an "awkward stage." She continues to mention "Growing up is hard, but just be persistent like a baby flamingo! You got this!"
It began to try to stand on one leg, and while it was only mildly successful, its attempts quickly had everyone head over heels in love with the little baby! Twitter user Celesse shared a photo on the platform with the caption "BABY FLAMINGO… Who's trying so hard to flamingo." Like standing on one foot like an adult, being an adult can be hard for humans and animals alike, and trying to grow up fast seems like something we all do no matter what living being we are! The resulting actions are just too relatable and we can't get enough.
Check out adorable pictures of this flamingo, as well as many of the other babies, that are living at the National Aviary below! While this one has caught quite a bit of attention, they're all pretty adorable in their own way! We can't wait to see how adorable these birds continue to be.
