Anna Romanova, a Russia-based artist makes just about the cutest felted animals you've seen. By using felting technique, she turns loose wool into adorable pocket-sized brooches and toys you can't get your eyes off.
"I make unique wool felted toys since 2010," Anna tells Bored Panda. "When I started, it was [only] a hobby, I really want to make my friends happy so I [made] toys for them," the artist says.
After she started sharing photos of her work on Instagram, more and more people were interested in her smiley animals and her hobby slowly became a business.
Anna says that usually, she chooses sheep's wool to make her charming little animals and special needles that are used for felting. "When I make a toy, [it] usually takes from 5 to 14 days, depending on the size and type of work," Anna tells us. "I don't like making copies of real animals, my toys have my own style, you could see it if you look in their eyes."
For those wanting to buy her artworks (of which the most popular are the tiny foxes), she warns: "You can find a lot of scammers on Alie Express and Taobao who are trying to sell my works like was theirs."
