Spring has finally sprung, and there is one little character who has been particularly enjoying the sunshine—Fluffy the Therapy Pig. Montreal-based photographer Chantal Levesque recently captured the adorable piglet playing in a field of pink tulips, and the results will melt your heart.
Fluffy is part of the Khalizoo Zootherapy team, a group of animals that help support individuals and groups struggling with emotional, psychological, social or physical difficulties. Fluffy is no-doubt great at her job—even just looking at these photos is sure to bring a smile to your face.
Levesque met Fluffy in 2018, and was instantly charmed by her cuteness. Their pair's photo session set among pink tulips showcases Fluffy's "girly girl side," and she even has pink toenails to match! "I usually photograph dogs in natural light settings but when the opportunity presented itself to photograph Fluffy the Therapy Pig I went bananas," says Levesque. "We were lucky to find these delicate fresh pink tulips for her portraits (pink is her favorite color)."
It should come as no surprise that Fluffy attracts attention wherever she goes—and her photo session with Levesque was no exception. "Lots of 'awwwww's were heard, people stopped to take photos of her and would just smile as they crossed her path," recalls Levesque. "One can only imagine the joy and support she brings to people's lives as a therapy pig!"
