She looked at him with her gentle gaze and hugged him for hours until she fell asleep deeply. With a dedicated foster family ready to meet her needs, Tilly started gaining weight and gaining strength in her legs. She worked on her hind legs and practiced walking daily while her foster parents cheered on her. Over the next few weeks, Tilly’s pace became more steady and her gait more powerful. The first time she picked up speed and ran, everyone was very proud of her. The kitten recovered. She gained the mobility of her hind legs and turned into a restless tyrant. She can keep up with the bigger kittens around the house and stay in control every time she plays. With her strong health and increased range of motion, Tilly began to use the litter box on her own. She enjoys spending time with other students and being their annoying little sister. “When Tilly first came to us, she couldn’t even walk.
